How ordering, proofing, payment and delivery work at 4C Digital.
Standard turnaround is 5 to 7 business days after you approve your proof. The clock starts at approval, not at ordering, so the sooner a proof is approved the sooner the job runs. Rush turnaround is available on many products and is priced as an option when you configure them.
By Interac e-Transfer. When your order is confirmed we email payment instructions including the order number to quote in the transfer message. Nothing is charged automatically and no card details are stored on this site.
No. You can configure a product, upload artwork and check out as a guest. Creating an account keeps your order history, proofs and files together and makes reordering easier, but it is never required to buy.
Yes. We check every file and send a proof for approval before anything goes on press. Nothing prints without it. Once a proof is approved the job cannot be changed or cancelled, so it is worth reading carefully.
Yes — 29 dollars on the printing itself. Below that a job costs more in file checking, proofing and handling than it brings in. Rush charges, delivery and shipping are added on top of that minimum rather than absorbed into it.
Yes. Pickup from our Mississauga shop is free. We also deliver locally, and ship across Canada — the cost is shown in your cart before you check out, once you choose how you would like to receive it.
PDF, AI, EPS, SVG, CDR, PSD, INDD, ZIP. JPG and PNG are not accepted as final production artwork — they are raster formats that print blurry at press sizes. If a JPG or PNG is all you have, send it with a quote request and we will tell you honestly whether it will hold up.
Choose "I would like help with the design" at checkout and our team will prepare or correct the file. You can also build simple work in the online designer, which applies the correct bleed and safe area for you.
Commercial printing works to a tolerance, not an exact match, and colour shifts slightly between runs, stocks and presses. Uncoated stock in particular absorbs more ink and prints duller than coated. If a precise brand colour matters, tell us before we proof.
A 5% over or under run can occur on commercial print jobs — this is standard across the industry and reflects setup and trimming waste. If you need a guaranteed minimum quantity, order the next tier up.
Still stuck? Get in touch — we would rather answer a question than reprint a job.
